高技術労働者キャタゴリーは学歴と技術が高い方の為のキャタゴリーです。条件としてはアルバルタ州にLMO(Labour Market Opinion)をもらっている雇用者から仕事をもらっていて、その仕事がNOC (National Occupational Classification)でSkill level O, A, Bのどれかにあてはまる。仕事をする為の免許や資格を持っている事も条件です。見習い期間である場合は申し込みができません。

International Graduate(正規留学生):

正規留学生キャタゴリーはカナダの大学・大学院勉強し卒業証書を貰った方の為のキャタゴリーです。公立(アルベルタ州では私立も可)の四年生大学2年以上、大学院1年以上勉強た事が必要です。

条件としてはアルバルタ州にLMO(Labour Market Opinion)をもらっている雇用者から6ヶ月以上の仕事をもらっていて、その仕事がNOC (National Occupational Classification)でSkill level O, A, Bのどれかにあてはまる。仕事をする為の免許や資格を持っている事も条件です。　カナダで雇用ビザを持っている事も条件です。

Semi-Skilled Worker(技術労働者):

技術労働者キャタゴリーで申し込む条件としてはアルバルタ州にLMO(Labour Market Opinion)をもらっている雇用者から仕事をもらっている事。高卒でありアルバルタ州で6ヶ月以上働いていて英語力がある方の為のキャタゴリーです。このキャタゴリーには4つの違う産業があり申し込める職業がそれぞれ違います。

Long Haul Truck DriverはShort Haul Truck Driverとは違い、家から遠い他州や北米の他の国の場所へトラックを何日か何週間もかけて運転する職業です。 Short Haul Truck Driverとしてアルバルタ州選択プログラムを申し込む事は出来ません。

Self Employed Farmer(農業経営):

このプログラムは農業経営の経験があり資産があるい方に適しているプログラムです。このキャタゴリーでアルバルタ州選択プログラムを申し込む為には農業経営の為に$500,000(カナダドル)と他に経営に必要なお金がある事が条件です。
